If you're like me, and always craving for a new Italian place in Cambridge, then I've got good news. Gran Gusto, in West Cambridge, is some of the better Italian food I've had outside the North End. As you can see in my video (in which half the time I was in a food coma), we had both the pizza and pasta there. For the pizza, I can say the crust was perfect, not too crispy and not too soft, and the toppings were perfect (mozzarella, eggplant, and cherry tomatoes). As for the pasta, it was definitely home-made, and it was exactly what you want when you have that craving.
I went there on a Friday night, and the vibe was great; there were plenty of people so there was good energy in the room, but it was also just quiet enough where you could enjoy yourself a few drinks and good conversation. Highly recommended!
